So are you reducing your marketing budget now that the economy is sluggish? Looking for creative ways to improve your bottom line?
I know I am! And I'm not even in the US, but hey I'm working on a shoestring budget so I am working hard on marketing at a low cost! So what are you all using?
I'm a big fan of Twitter and now I'm learning about how we can use Facebook pages for our businesses. I used to skip over Facebook talk as I found it to be a more personal forum, but the pages give me a place to put my business info in without making my "real life" friends listen to me go on about it!
Thanks Laurie. I'm with you - looking for creative and new ways to promote my business. Unfortunately, with these trying economic times, it's not the time to shrink from marketing and promotion. We need to be out there and prominent, making sure the consumer knows we're still in it!
That's where tools like Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter come in. They enable us to get our message out there without incurring any additional cost. It's the new method of prospecting and promoting that more REALTORS need to be aware of and take advantage of. I'm looking forward to sharing ideas with others here on The Real Estate Network and other social networking venues as to how to use these tools to build business.
Thanks again for your post, and I'm looking forward to sharing! Take care,
I haven't gotten into the facebook as of yet. I too wondered about it for networking. There are so many forums out there to network on, but see that the young and upward mobile people are in it, so I guess I too should look into it. Thanks for the idea.

Hi Sue, it's very easy to set up a facebook page for your business, once you have a regular facebook profile. And then you can keep your networking a little separate if you like. I think for Realtors facebook will be a really good tool! Take care!
