INVESTING IN ASIA.....
Lynne and I now live in Asia...more exactly we are living in Bangladesh. We recently moved from Bangkok, Thailand to Bangladesh because of my work. For those of you who do not know us: My name is David Haahr and my wife is Lynne Haahr. Lynne is US Navy retired 20-years and real estate licensed in Las Vegas and also holds International License. Lynne is back in the states now visiting. I am retired from law in Las Vegas....investment law, real estate law, contracts law and owned a practice with ten attorneys.
Anyway, to the point at hand. Although everybody is jumping and screaming about how bad it is in the USA and housing and house prices dropping like flys...here in Asia it is just the opposite. What the news publishes about Asia in the US is not correct. I am in Bangladesh for the next 4 years working with the Bangla Government. I am involved with bringing in Builders, Contractors, Investors and JV Partners for construction projects. Most all projects are partially or fully funded by the Government or the World Bank..the ones which are not are the private sector/Government approved and sanctioned projects. These are open for Private investment and Joint Venture Investment with huge potential for profits and long term growth. Funding even for private investors for these projects is easily obtained through local banking connections.
There is room here over the next 5 years to make GREAT profits and get in on some real projects that will help to build a nation. I am interested in hearing from anybody who might want to consider being a part of this growth and development and is finding it hard to make money or get jobs and/or work for your company in the USA. I will add to this Blog on a regular basis with projects as well as investments in Condos. These will be for investment and retirement in Thailand and Bangladesh or other parts of Asia. PLEASE understand, what you see on the news is sensationalized and NOT at all what reality is here. Many Americans, Canadians and Europeans move here every year because their retirements can have them living like kings here. LITERALLY!!!! But then that is another story when you have the time.
